Welcome to Hybrid

Hybrid has been trading since 1988 and was started in a garage in the south of Johannesburg. Our main products were amplifiers and Hybrid soon established itself as one of the biggest amplifier manufactures of amplifiers is SA.

Soon Hybrid was also making speakers systems in our own carpentry workshop. In the late 90’s Hybrid became the exclusive agent for Numark dj products and by 2002 Hybrid made the decision to stop manufacturing products in SA and get our designs made in the east in order to become more price competitive.

In 2004 Hybrid became the agent for Real Sound and this brand has established itself as a sought after brand in the SA market because of its quality and competitive pricing. Early in 2008 Hybrid became the agents for Das Audio an internationally respected loudspeaker manufacturer from Valencia Spain. Recently Hybrid have also become the agents for Audio Centre a new brand made in the east using only European loudspeaker components and or the very highest quality.

The Hybrid brand now boasts a range of Professional Amplifiers, Professional Loud Speakers, Band Mixers and signal Processors.
